Where it started

I started coding in high school, taking Python data analysis classes with BYJU'S FutureSchool, where I learned to work with data in NumPy, pandas, and Matplotlib.

The first project I was really proud of came the summer after 10th grade, at Operation Catapult, a summer program at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. I built a multiplayer video game in Python, and it won first place, picked by the program's teachers.

Building for the web

Since then I've mostly built for the web. I freelanced for Sellix for two years, maintaining their API, its reference, and the guides that explain it to customers.

I've built storefronts and dashboards for clients, like a license store for klar.gg that issues keys the moment an invoice is paid, and AlteraSMS, which finds the cheapest provider for a phone number so you don't have to check five sites.

This site is one of those projects too: a desktop with windows, a terminal, a file explorer, and 3D wallpapers, all built in Next.js.

At USC

My class projects at USC have included a guitar chord detector in Python that names a chord a quarter second after you strum it, and a Space Invaders game in Verilog that you steer by tilting an FPGA board.

I interned at Elytra Robotics, building web apps for interactive property maps and for collecting the images used to train a model that identifies types of waste. Now I work for Viterbi IT as a student worker.

Climbing, skiing, and diving

I've been rock climbing since I was 8, and spent a summer in high school working at a climbing gym. These days I'm at the gym twice a week, usually for about four hours total, and on some weekends I head outdoors. So far that's taken me to Ape's Wall in Malibu Creek, Joshua Tree, Bishop, and Moe's Valley in Utah.

I've been skiing even longer, since I was 5, and still get out for a week or two every year. I picked up SCUBA diving in 11th grade and try to go on at least one dive trip a year.
